Serving as the University's chief academic officer, the Provost & Executive Vice President provides leadership for Texas A&M's academic enterprise, overseeing academic strategy, the faculty, academic programs, and implementing key institutional priorities. The Provost is responsible for promoting academic quality and integrity, supporting faculty achievement, advancing research and scholarship, and fostering student success across the University's colleges and schools.
Working within the Office of the Provost and with senior leadership, the AVP-AI will help coordinate institutional efforts related to artificial intelligence, support interdisciplinary collaboration, and identify opportunities where AI can enhance research, productivity, teaching and learning, and operational effectiveness.
