Larry Elliott

Larry Elliott is an Executive Search Specialist, where he plays a key role in identifying and attracting top-tier talent to support the university’s mission and long-term goals. With a strong foundation in relationship management, Larry thrives on building authentic connections with both candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a seamless and positive recruitment experience for all parties involved.

Before joining Texas A&M in 2024, Larry served as an IT Relationship Manager at Taos, an IT consulting firm, where he helped align technology solutions with client needs while managing strategic partnerships. He also worked for IBM as an IT Talent Acquisition Partner, gaining valuable experience in technical recruiting and talent management at a global scale. His background bridges both technical and people-focused roles, giving him a unique perspective in talent acquisition.

Born and raised in East Texas, Larry also spent six years in Austin and a decade in Boise, Idaho, where he is an alumnus of Boise State University, before returning to Texas in 2017. He brings not only professional expertise but also regional insight and a deep appreciation for the communities he serves.

Outside of work, Larry is an avid football fan who enjoys woodworking, backyard projects, and spending time with his family. He is married with two children, six dogs, and three horses. More dogs and horses are expected—if his wife has anything to do with it.
